2020 is in full swing, and you are probably working on a few wellness goals for this year. Recently there has been an increase in conscious consumption and mindfulness; it’s all about what goes in and on one’s body.People are seeking out natural options to feel healthier and happier, and CBD skincare checks the box for a one-stop shop.

Here are 3 ways to make CBD skincare part of your 2020 goals:

1. Find Your ‘Why’ 

Always begin by asking yourself ‘why?’ This isSimon Sinek’s philosophy (author ofStart With Why). He says, ‘there are only two ways to influence human behaviour: you can manipulate it or you can inspire it.’

Inspire yourself. Feed your curiosity. Think aboutwhyyou are choosing to make a change. When it comes to adding CBD skincare to your daily routine, ask yourself, ‘why is this important to me?’: 

  • To reduce the signs of ageing? 
  • To alleviate inflammation or redness? 
  • To soothe troublesome acne?

There are no wrong answers. Establish your why and from there you can easily figure outhow to achieve it.

Keep a skin diary for a few weeks. Note down the characteristics of your complexion. Recognise how you feel; everything from confidence to energy levels. Over time, begin to notice patterns and problem areas, and take note of why CBD skincare could benefit your skin’s health.

2. Choose plant-based, sustainable products

Using CBD in skincare products means choosing plant-based ingredients. Even beyond Veganuary, adding plant-based skincare products is the key to clearer, cleaner skin (read more here).

3. Use CBD skincare as self care

It can be easy to speed ahead with all of the tasks on your list, but pledge to take at least a few minutes in the AM and PM to pause and refuel your soul.
