3 unique ways to use CBD oil

The CBD industry is booming, and there are now some pretty weird and wonderful ways to enjoy the benefits of this product, with more joining the market every day. For many, the ritual of taking CBD oil can be stress-relieving in itself, so before you jump on the bandwagon and use a dropper under your tongue, consider how you’d like to get the benefits; would you prefer to vape CBD? Would you rather bake it into your favourite snack? There are lots of ways to use it, which you can find out all about in our Beginner’s Guide to CBD Delivery Methods article, but if you’re up for trying something a little different, here are 3 unique ways to enjoy CBD.

Add it to your tea

We Brits enjoy a cup of tea (or two) most days, and if your morning cuppa is how you set yourself up for a great day ahead, then perhaps adding CBD oil to your tea could make it more of an enjoyable experience for you. Simply dropping your current CBD oil into your builder’s brew may not be sufficient, and you should always consult the instructions of the particular product you are using, but luckily there are lots of CBD tea options on the market that make this easier and more effective.

Use it in your bath

Again, I’m not suggesting simply dropping your CBD oil into a tub of water (a drop in the ocean comes to mind?) but there are bath bombs and other bath treats on the market that allow you to soak in a warm tub of CBD infused water, and maximise the relaxation that comes with bathtime. Our skin absorbs so much of what we put on it, so bathing in a CBD bath is a great way to enjoy the benefits while feeling truly calm and relaxed.

And of course… use it in skincare (like I do)

The topical application of CBD oil can have different benefits to that of the oil you would ingest, but is definitely nothing to be brushed off. CBD infused creams and lotions can target pain in a localised area to help provide relief, while skincare products with CBD (the Ohana range) can help improve the appearance of skin by targeting the natural endocannabinoid system within our bodies, and interacting with receptors in the skin to encourage healing through its anti-inflammatory properties. If you want to improve the overall appearance of your skin, then considering CBD in your skincare might be the way to go.
